This 2015 CollectA Smilodon figure has a few scientific inaccuracies. Its neck is much to short for Smilodon fatlais. Smilodon had a relatively long and very muscular neck. Also, this figure has quite long and relatively slender forearms. Paleo experts have stated that Smilodon's forearms were relatively short and very thick and muscular. I also think the head on this figure is ill defined, and it does not even really look cat-like to me. Even its saber teeth do not have the correctly curved knife like appearance that the Mojo's Smilodon figure has.

seeing the rating on this figure being 4 out of 5 just shows me that most people have no idea what Smilodon was like. This figure has very little scientific accuracy. For me it’s about a 2.2 out of 5.
